4Play Squash is proud to host an international tournament in London on 7 November 2009.

Details

  • Location: Brixton Recreation Centre (Open a map)
  • Times: 9:00am start. Play continues until approx 19:00
  • Tube: Brixton (Victoria line)
  • Social: Dinner at The Lavender and dancing at Barcode Vauxhall (£4.50 entry) - All welcome!

 

Registration

We have reached the max of 60 registrations! No further registrations are being accepted.

Tournament places are limited to 60 players and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We will initially reserve 20 places for non-4Play players. You will be notified by email if your registration was successful and, if applicable, the email will include details on how to make payment to secure your place. The confirmation email may only be sent a day or two after you register.

The tournament fee is:

  • £30 before 7 October 2009
  • £35 from 7 October 2009

and includes:

  • entry into the squash tournament,
  • a tournament t-shirt

 

Accreditation

The Edge in Soho will be the venue for the accreditation. Find us on the first floor from 6pm!

    Northern Line (Charing Cross Branch); and Central line.

Competition

As the tournament is oversubscribed, we have had to change the scoring system to PAR15 to accommodate the extra matches. Matches will consist of 2 games, PAR ("Point-a-rally" or "American scoring") to 15. We apologise for any disappointment this change causes.

Scoring will follow the English (HiHo or Hand In, Hand Out) system. Matches will be played best of three in the preliminary rounds. Matches in the finals will be best of five games (tbc).

The categories are:

  • A - Advanced
  • B - Intermediate
  • C - Improver
  • D - Beginner

Hosted Accommodation

During the registration process, you have the opportunity to request hosted accommodation. Whilst best efforts will be made, 4Play cannot guarantee that hosted accommodation can be provided.
