Membership

Announcement: From 1st January 2012, 4Play Squash is introducing a membership scheme.

Two levels of membership are available. The level best for you depends on how much squash you intend to play. The two levels are: Annual Membership and Day Membership.

 

Annual Membership

If you play squash with us on a regular basis, this is the option for you.

Benefits:

  • No Day Member fee at Social Squash Sessions
  • Join the 4Play Squash League
  • Play in our Middlesex League teams
  • Receive information via our mailing list
  • Participate in additional activities we organise

£16 per year

Day Membership

If you play squash with us only occasionally, this option may suit you.

Benefits:

  • No up-front commitment
  • Option to become an Annual Member at any time

 

 

£2 per session

(in addition to session fee)

 

Day Membership

As a Day Member you will need to pay a Day Membership fee of £2 per session in addition to the normal session fee. Day Members are not entitled to the member benefits afforded to Annual Members.

 

Annual Membership

The Annual Membership cost is £16 and is valid within the membership year shown on the membership card. Without an Annual Membership, you can play squash with us on a Day Membership basis, however, you will miss out on the member benefits outlined below.

Annual Members only will be entitled to:-
1. Vote in AGMs
2. Stand for election to the Management Committee
3. Put down motions for determination at the AGM
4. Receive regular information of the Group’s activities (i.e. be on the Group's email list)
5. Join the internal league
6. Be eligible to participate in the Middlesex League
7. Participate in any additional activities organised for the Group and restricted by the Committee in its absolute discretion, to Annual Members
8. Receive any additional benefits decided by the Committee in its absolute discretion to be for Annual Members only

 

What is the membership year?

The membership year runs from 1 January until 31 December each year. Annual Memberships are only valid until 31 December of the year the membership was bought for. For example: A 2012 Annual Membership bought in September 2012 will still expire on 31 December 2012.

 

Proof of Annual Membership

If you buy an Annual Membership, you will be issued with a membership card showing the year the membership is valid for. You need to produce your membership card at the social squash sessions to avoid paying the Day Membership fee.

 

Information we need and how we will use it

We will need some information from you (listed below) to process your Annual Membership. The information will be kept in an online system hosted by www.in-zone.co.uk who provide our online league software. You can read their Privacy Policy here: http://www.in-zone.co.uk/PrivacyPolicy.htm

When you buy an Annual Membership, we need your Name, Email address, and Mobile Phone number (optional).

We will use the information you give us to manage your membership and to communicate with you through email.
